Bright Spring Festival and more

October 1, 2018

Over October and November, there is a plethora of events in and around Bright. And to top it all off there is still some snow left on Hotham.
This really is the perfect time to visit Bright, enjoy the beautiful flowers, and everything that Bright has to offer.

  So what’s on in Bright?

The Bright festival of Photography is on from the 5 - 7 October. It is a full weekend of photography. There will be guided photo walks, workshops, demos, gear, competitions and lectures.

The Bright Spring Festival starts on 20 October to 6 November.
For the Festival, there is a program that covers the whole 18 days. Here are just a few things you can do:

Open Gardens
This year there are 19 Open Gardens that you can visit and get ideas or inspiration for your own garden. These range from sustainable gardens, formal gardens, wild gardens, farm and community gardens and more.

Bright Spring Art Walk
If you love art then this is for you. This is a self guided tour that you can go on, to explore the local artists and their work in and around Bright.

Melbourne Cup Weekend - a brilliant family weekend!

On Saturday 3 November, there is the Grand Fireworks Spectacular. And on Monday the 5th of November there is the Monster Rotary Street Market, the perfect opportunity to start your Christmas shopping. And you get to enjoy warmer weather at the same time.

If you can make it, this is a great family weekend - we have a few spots left, so if you get in quick you can still make it for this year. Call us ASAP on 03 5755 1010 to book.

So there you have it, there is so much to do at this time of the year and there is more on in November. We have only just scratched the surface of all the events coming up. For a list of all Bright Events over October and November go here.

Whether you choose to come while an event is on (please note a lot of these will be booked out - but we can put you on a waiting list so it is worth calling), or decide to visit during the week when it is a little quieter, we would love to have you stay at Bright Pine Valley Tourist Caravan Park!
